Have you heard? I have a new hobby…. I am clipping the crap out of coupons! LOL I even bought some on ebay. I told Pat “if I don’t have a coupon for it .. I aint buying it” and well.. the pantry and fridge are really bare. ….. really bare. I guess I should have waited to make such a bold statement until I have more than handful of coupons huh?? I also print coupons online, order free samples, and download free stuff.

Here are just a few examples of some great coupons that you can get.
$1 off Cheerios ~ if you love you some cheerios, just join the Cheerios Challenge and receive 6 emails with a $1 coupon and some heart healthy tips (one email/coupon every week)

Target Coupons ~ These change weekly.  And did you know a Target coupon can be combined with a manufactured coupon?  For example if you print the Target coupon for $.50 off a box of Quaker granola Bars and you clipped a coupon out of your Sunday Paper to save $.75 off a box of Quaker granola Bars then you will save $1.25 off that box of Granola bars!

Free Kashi Cookie ~ Play the “steal a cookie” game and they will send you a free delicious cookie!  I got mine yesterday…  yum, I ate it while watching Bones.

Free from Walmart ~ Did you know that you can get free samples from walmart?  Yeah, me either until recently.  The last couple weeks I requested many free samples.. from toothpaste, tampons, benefiber, soap, lotion, pads, washing detergent and more.

Free Magic Eraser ~ The bald guy at Mr. Clean is giving away free magic erasers! Just register.

Free Bare Naked Granola ~ Who doesn’t like granola!  Bare Naked also entices you to save your granola bags and in turn you earn points to be redeemed for cool stuff.  What a great way to recycle your Bare Naked bags! Good idea you guys!

Terrebonne Parish is still under 24 hour curfew, and they are not allowing anyone back to the parish until Friday at noon at the earliest, and they are probably pushing it back several days. The water is contaminated, no electricity for so many, its so difficult right now for so many people.  Everyone wants to go home, but it is just not safe enough to return.  Be patient everyone…  and be patient on the roads traveling home, and I hope you arrive safe and your home is safe too.

During my balcony time yesterday evening, I watched the sky transform in front of my eyes. It was wicked beautiful. Take a look for yourself!

I am looking forward to this weekend! One thing for sure, we are headed to Pennsylvania tonight to play games!  what?  don’t you travel to a different state to play a game of scrabble?  actually I don’t know what we are playing and who is going..  I just follow Pat like a good girl.  I am excited to get out the apartment! yay! Last night we had a tremendous storm over here in Maryland. It was wicked cool. Pat and I went on the patio to witness the show… I caught a few bolts on my camera which was a first! As I was taking the video, I captured a mega thick, mega bright, mega loud lightning bolt that hit the apartments in front of us.

It was the largest lightning bolt I can ever remember seeing.. at the end of the clip you can hear me say “going in now” I was totally freaked out and my heart was beating so hard, I was nervous, jittery, it felt like I just completed an extremely difficult workout.. I felt fatigued from watching the lightning! weird!

I took a picture of the sky on March 5 for my friend Greg’s birthday! I know Greg from my Colorado days and we recently found each other on myspace.  Gotta love the internet!  It is cool to think that after all these years we can still carry on a conversation like we been buddies for ever.  Friends are hard to come by and I feel pretty lucky to have him on my side!
