Joshua and Pat reminded me of how I love  to see/hold a sleeping baby.  It is one of the sweetest things a person could ever do, hold and love an innocent little happy baby. Happy Happy Joy Joy! What a relaxing weekend. I decided to grab a couple pictures of me and Mariella. You know, since I only have like 10 pics of us together! lol Wee Baby is reaching for us now. Pat usually carries Wee Baby everywhere… BUT now that she is getting to be such a big girl, Pat’s arms get all jelly like after 10 minutes! lol I often wear baby and finally Pat decided to give baby wearing a try. We have a few different carriers. Right now Pat us using the Babybjörn and he loves to wear baby for our family excursions. Like checking the mail. Bringing out the garbage. Walking to the river. What are our amazing family plans for this Saturday? Staying home, playing, loving, sharing and enjoying our simple life as a family. The kids, Pat and Wee Baby, decided to surf the internet with their laptops and enjoy the lazy afternoon. Sometimes I can’t get close enough.

Last night I didn’t feel all that hot.  This is the third time in 5 days I felt awful after eating a piece of chocolate.   Friday afternoon, I ate a piece of Valentines chocolate.  It was caramel, milk chocolate and nuts.   Soon after I felt so sick.  Thank goodness Mariella wanted to snuggle, because I held her tight and we took a nap on the couch together.    Sunday afternoon I did the exact same thing…  grabbed a single piece of chocolate and I got sick again.   Last night, I wanted something sweet so I grabbed a chocolate cookie that we bought when Gordon was...

I caught Pat deep in thought the other day.  We were walking around outside, stopped for a break, and just sat for a while listening to the river.  It was nice and breezy.  All we heard was the river rushing.  We sat in silence for a bit, just enjoying the bliss of nature. A local bakery,  Sweet Cascades, welcomed Darlene, Pat and I with open arms last week.  They were incredibly nice and they had some amazing treats!  I was overwhelmed by the smells of sweet treats and bacon fat! The gentleman behind the counter gave us samples of…. get this..  Bacon Chocolate and Old Bay Chocolate.
