I was reading up on this thing called a teratoma. You can too if you like, wikipedia has some great info.. but before you read or click any further be warned it is totally disgusting! The word “teratoma” is greek and it means “monstrous tumor” OMG really? yes, really! Why call it a monstrous tumor? You may know that I love a good martini. You may not know that I love to chew pieces off my olives as I drink my martini. I just adore bitting off tiny pieces of delicious olive goodness with every sip.. leaving behind remnants of olive and pimento. weird..  I am not sure how I feel.  I locked my keys in the safe.   I boxed up my things.  I wrapped up my awards.  I sent a “see ya later” email to the region.   I gave good bye hugs.   I walked out the building and got in the car. now what? Yay !!! I was able to get off of work 6 hours early today! We got home and I was all pumped up and ready to get rolling on some important project that I must accomplish in the near future. Pat accidental fell on the sofa bed and was all like “come snuggle with me” and I was like “NO” I am ready to get shit done. its the final countdown! ba-na-naaa-naaaaaaaa ba-na-na-na-naaaa Today – I gave my 2 weeks notice at work. My last day is Friday April 25. Today – Pat and I opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate us being broke in 2 weeks! Today – I am so very thankful for all of you who have invited us into your home while we figure out our next step. Seriously, the love from our family and friends is so fabulous and it is a load off my mind to know that no matter what, I have a place to rest my head and a bowl to eat my ramen from! yay! The gala was awesome! It was hard finding a dress … I just could not find one that had real straps, (not spaghetti straps) and one that didn’t show ass loads of cleavage! well, I guess I can say boob loads of cleavage! lol I found a cute dress with straps, but with a very low cut… I was thinking, maybe I can just clip some fabric across the top to cover some of that! Its 11 am. I just got out of bed. My gala is tonight, as of right now, I have no new dress, no new shoes, no hair cut, nada… all I have is my optimism that it will all pull together at the last moment! lol.
