On July 27, 2009 Pat and I went to our formal ultrasound appointment. Wee baby was not cooperating with the lab technician!  lol  I had to get up walk around, drink some juice and try to get Wee Baby to change positions.  Lucky for us, they didn’t have another patient scheduled after me…  they were able to keep me an extra hour to get some additional images and measurements of Wee Baby.   I still have to go back because they could not get a good image of the right kidney, the placenta and something else that I can’t remember. Hello world   I am 20 weeks pregnant already! I just made the halfway point, and I can hardly believe it!  It is the 9th day in a row I feel the baby, so I guess I’ll be feeling wee baby everyday from here on out!  Sunday I had my first real pregnancy craving, I wanted a cookie BAD!  It was the first time Pat and I left during the evening to go purchase a specific item.  So yay!  I thought my belly was round at 16 weeks ~ however…. First belly pictures! On my birthday, wee baby was 99 days into development. Ninety Nine Days! The perfect day to start taking belly pictures, right?  Sure! Our wee baby is approx an inch and a half long now, about the size of a kumquat or walnut or strawberry!  What sounds cuter?  Baby Kumquat or Baby Walnut or Baby Strawberry?  lol As of yesterday, I been feeling less tired!  I been getting out walking everyday and that is helping me cope with the fatigue and the feelings of loneliness.  I have been so lonely!   Pat comes home and I practically pounce on him, “how was your day?  You want a snack? If I have to smell my Pat’s tuna salad sandwich for one more second, I am going to lose my cookies. Wait, did someone say cookies? I don’t need your help Maury, I know who’s my baby’s daddy! . Yep, Pat is going to be a daddy…  and well, I’ll be a mommy!  We are beginning a big new chapter in our book, and this chapter will continue with us for the rest of our lives! I dyed my hair ~

I dyed my hair several days ago ~ it is dark, DARK as the night!    Its all good, I am about to cut it off again, I like Chloe’s hair on the young and the restless…  I might get it cut like that. bundled up ~

Just a few days ago, I hiked to the grocery store in freezing cold weather!  It was something like 10 degrees with the wind chill.  Although I bitched a little, getting out with the blue skies and the brisk weather was a bit invigorating.  I was ridiculously bundled up and wearing sock gloves.  I lost my gloves AGAIN! gah..  Today  I feel cold and blue ~  working at home on the computer going cross-eyed and thinking of my wonderful family.
