Crispy slices of dill pickle.  When I make myself a sandwich, I suck the juice off each pickle slice before I put it on my bread.  Who wants pickle juice seaping into the bread??  Not I!

I actually suck the juice off the pickles for every sandwich I make… its habit…  Enjoy your lunch today Pat!

You may not know that I love to chew pieces off my olives as I drink my martini. I just adore bitting off tiny pieces of delicious olive goodness with every sip.. leaving behind remnants of olive and pimento. As I gnaw the pieces off with my snaggle,.. small pieces just float around and it just terrifies Pat. He can hardly believe that i destroy the look of my martini in such a way. He gets grossed out every time.. he just does not understand it.. kind of like when I order an expensive steak and ask for it well done with ketchup….

There was a time when I actually hated olives. Couldn’t stand them. I remember watching Pat eat one after the other until the olive jar was depleted of olives and then I would squish up my face in disgust when he drank the olive juice out of the jar. ewwwww! After years of him making me try an olive here and there, I eventually developed a liking to them, and now I love them! Give me a martini and I’ll drink it. Give me a martini with some olives and I’ll sip and nibble for hours. And if you say the words “olive juice” it appears you are mouthing the words “i love you”

One time for fun, me and a friend took a bottle of baby powder and poured it on all the blades of her ceiling fan in her bedroom…. then we turned the fan on high! That was a dumb idea, but smart of me to do it in HER room at her house! My momma didn’t raise no fool!
