Are you Nuts?
I think it is a great idea to prepare snacks before you get snacky.
Buy some tasty healthy snacks and when you get home, immediately portion out serving sizes. I can grab a container of nuts from the pantry and before you know it, Pat and I have devoured nearly the entire damn thing! These raw almonds from Target were put into serving sizes as soon as I got home. Not this time…. this time I won’t go ohhhhh my belly…. wow weeeeeee I am soooo full! I am so damn smart.

ok. The delicious pirate’s booty. I don’t know about you, but I am much more likely to eat WAY to many cheesy poofs right out of the bag. I admit I can and have consumed an entire bag in one sitting. Sooooooooo when I portion out the servings in some handy zip lock containers, I grab a serving. And enjoy every morsel!

This idea is the same for fresh veggies! I love to buy carrots, celery, broccoli, and cauliflower. When I get home from the grocery store, I immediately wash, cut and prepare containers of easy grab fresh veggies. Complete with a dipping accessory…. say hummus, almond butter or lite ranch dressing! Yummmmm! In the last 3 weeks I did lose a few pounds. I hope to lose a pound a week until I reach my goal! Probably next year, but hey what ever!
