On July 27, 2009 Pat and I went to our formal ultrasound appointment. Wee baby was not cooperating with the lab technician! lol I had to get up walk around, drink some juice and try to get Wee Baby to change positions. Lucky for us, they didn’t have another patient scheduled after me… they were able to keep me an extra hour to get some additional images and measurements of Wee Baby. I still have to go back because they could not get a good image of the right kidney, the placenta and something else that I can’t remember.
Anywho! Pat and I decided to find out the sex of the baby. See Wee Baby’s beautiful profile below? awwww
Boy or Girl?
Click Wee Baby’s profile picture to get the results!
It was a wonderful and long 2 hour visit. It feels extra real now that we know the sex of the Wee Baby. It is sinking in now for sure! lol
P.S. Information about the baby showere is coming soon. It will be a fun party for everyone! Including men and women. I am having one in Louisiana on Saturday August 22nd. And one in Texas Monday August 24th. Those dates are for certain, so mark you calendars now!

Its a girl? Woo-hoo!!!! Yeah!!!! I am so excited for you. Girls are so much fun.
I will have to send you a picture of Isabella as soon as I get them in.
I am dying to know what you are going to name her. I had the hardest time with girl names.
Have you started on her room? Are you having her in your room? I need details!!!!
I promise not to give you any advice because everyone will give you advice and you will learn that you have to do whatever you feel like doing for your baby. The baby doesn’t know the correct way things should be so if you make mistakes along the way who cares.
You already want another one? That is great!! I keep changing my mind every other day. Labor was a breeze (I had a section and the recovery was so easy, I was only in pain for 2 days) the only part that I makes me not want another baby is the loss of sleep and the emotional roller coaster.

Hey Ellen! We don’t have any names yet…
I didn’t start her room, but I think we will go with white furniture. And I found a cute crib textile set at Target. I don’t know if I’ll keep her in my room in the beginning, it is so cold in my room….
Is Isabella staying in your room right now? I found a snuggle bed thing that you can put in your bed then transition them to the crib with it.. I thought about that, but Pat and I sleep on a full size and there is not too much room.
It is all so new!
I can’t believe today I am 22 weeks pregnant! OMG!
On August 22nd Pat and I are having a couples shower for Wee Baby, it would be wonderful to see you and Isabella! Oh and Chuck too! I don’t think I seen him since high school! lol

In the beginning Isabella slept where ever she wanted to. The doctor told us to only keep her in her crib, but that didn’t work. We tried having her in our room too, but that didn’t work either. So the first 3 weeks were extremely hard. Now she is 6 weeks and she slept 8 hours last night in her crib! woo-hoo!!! Oh and I have the snuggle bed (from target…its blue I think) and it does not work. It has to be on a completely flat surface. Its kind of big to put in your bed too. I have a queen size and it was too big for even that. Oh and one person weighs more than the other so the baby rolls in it.
I would love to make it to your shower. Where are you registered?

That is the bed for baby that I was talking about, it got mixed reviews so I decided against it. I bet I will go through what you went through, trying to figure out whats best for wee baby, and going back and forth from her room to mine.
I’ll send you the information for the shower in your email ~ is it still princess_******** at hotmail.com?
if not, send me your address to totallyangel@gmail.com
I am sooooooo happy that Isabella slept 8 hours! Wow! You must be feeling great today!
