Day 12 ~ grocery challenge

Day 12 ~ lucky number 12!  I tore up the kitchen making my salad.  I don’t know how the hell it happened….  the salad was already pre-washed/cut!   I left it messy as I ate a humongous salad while watching the young and the restless.   And by the way, I am so mad that Adam is still being an A$$ and lying to Victor and Ashley….  it is so sad how Ashley still think she has a baby…    Anyway, on the the grub:

Pat’s lunch ~ vitamin water, smart water, coffee, pineapple, yogurt, raw almond butter and lingonberry jam on wheat, box of nerds, two Hershey bliss and a smart ones frozen dinner.

Angel’s breakfast ~ Raisin Bran with organic milk, with added sliced banana

Angel’s morning snack ~ yogurt, blueberries, granola

Angel’s lunch ~ BAS ~ Big Ass Salad.   Baby romaine, tomatoes, cucumber, cauliflower, cheese, crackers and ranch dressing.

Pat and Angel’s dinner ~ organic wheat pasta, artichoke pesto sauce with 1/2 bag sauteed spinach, topped with 7 Swedish meatballs.  Wheat bread garlic toast on the side.

Angel’s evening snack ~ ice cream with half a banana sliced on top.  Pat was sleeping already so he didn’t have any ice cream.

Some highlights and facts about the food above

~ The vitamin water in Pat’s lunch was complety free! In fact they gave me .20 cents when I bought it!

~ The crackers in my lunch salad was .10 cents a package.  They are crackers I found at CVS a couple months ago, marked 95% off!  I bought all 10 packs they had. I have 5 left.

~ I have a new picture for my Raisin Bran!

~ But I have an old picture for my ice cream!  lol

~Oh something else ~ There is no seconds at this apartment any more.  I have been very successful at preparing the right portions so we eat what we cook.   With the exception of  a cup of jasmine rice and a cup of wheat pasta.   Other than the rice and pasta, we had no left overs this week!   Awesome!
