Welcome to day 10 of the grocery challenge! Spend $25 per person each week. Are you wondering how I am doing? Well, I busted my budget last night! I had about 10 dollars to spend… and I spent 20! I think it is because on our Sunday shopping Pat picked out 25 dollars in steak! He bought a lovely family pack regular 45 on sale for 25. So I blame the meat.
the meat made me do it. I had 3 shopping trips that I’ll talk about in a later post. For now ~ here is how we did on day 10 of the challenge…
Pat’ lunch box ~ nature valley granola bar, baggie of corn pops, yogurt, apple, chocolate cookie, two Hershey bliss and a smart ones frozen meal.
Angel’s 1st breakfast at 7 am ~ Slice of wheat toast with raw almond butter and a sliced banana.
Angel’s 2nd breakfast at 9 am ~ raisin bran, ok I might take a new picture next time, like you care anyway… are you even reading this?

Angel’s lunchie munchie ~ (running out of bread) Slice of wheat bread with veggie patty, tomato, mango wasabi mustard and mayo. Sliced cucumber, tomato and one sliced hot pepper.
Angel’s afternoon snack ~ apple, raw almonds and a spritzer.
Pat and Angel’s dinner ~ We had delicious breakfast! Organic wheat pancakes, pop up eggs and the last of the bacon from the meat market. Loads of sweet syrup and organic butter. OMG is was so good! I had an extra pancake while Pat had an extra egg and bacon!
Some highlights and facts about the food above.
~ yogurt was only .25 cents each. Reg price at Target for a 4 pack is 2.00 and I had a few 1.00 coupons.
~ mango wasabi mustard was found on the clearance rack at Target of .98 cents.
~ that was the last of the bacon, bread and milk
~ the cornpops in Pat’s lunch was .25 cents a box.

Even though I went over this week, I think I'll level off next week by spending less…. it seems like I have a lot of food still. ?? time will tell.
I read it everyday….you guys are doing great.
