Tasty Tuesday ~
This is technically my second day into the challenge and I am already out of fresh vegetables! Well I have 1 tomato, 1 onion and 1/4 head of cauliflower (with spots on it) Which is next to nothing if you ask me! I have 8 dollars left for this week ~ WTH ~ I hope there is a mega mega clearance rack when I go to the store tomorrow!
Pat’s lunch box ~ Raw almond butter and raspberry jam on wheat bread, yogurt, raw almonds, banana, chocolate cookie, soyjoy bar and Smart Ones frozen meal.
Angel’s 1st breakfast at 6am ~ decaf coffee, apple and nutri grain bar
Angel’s 2nd breakfast at 8am ~ raisin bran with organic milk (same pic as yesterday, what you want a new pic?)
Angel’s 3rd breakfast at 10am ~ yogurt, blueberries and granola. What? I am eating for two, I can totally handle three breakfast meals!
Angel’s lunch ~ leftovers from Sundays steak dinner. Half a steak, peas and homemade mashed potatoes.
Angel’s afternoon snack ~ hand full of salty chips, it was all the crumbs and niblets at the bottom of the bag. Totally delicious and totally greasy and I totally did not want to take a picture of the tasty grossness!
Pat and Angel’s dinner ~ hot dog spaghetti with white corn. Mine is the one with all the stinky cheese on it! Ummmmm Give Me That Stinky Cheese!
Some highlights and facts about the food above.
~ Apple, nutrigrain and coffee were free from the lounge.
~ Raisin Bran was only .50 cents for the box
~ That was the last of my blueberries.
~ I got the potatoes for only .99 cents for a 5 pound bag! and that was the last of the potatoes too.

Super mom, super wife and super tired! :-) I created this website to keep my friends, family and internet enthusiast entertained. :P I try to take pretty pictures, make healthy foods, play arts and crafts and much more!
Those meals look very tasty Angel! You know, since you live in such a high cost of living area, you may need to increase your budget to $30 a week per person or maybe start a campaign to get your apartment to serve the free coffee/breakfast every day! lol! Have you been scanning the grocery ads to see who is selling the cheapest produce in your area?
I looked at a couple adds, found one great deal, Blueberries for 1.25 a pint. So I'll go to super fresh and get a pint of berries, half gallon of milk and hopefully a few vegetables.
humm Wonder what 8.00 will get me?
If wee baby wouldn't get upset at me, I would just get me a load of Ramen! I haven't had Ramen in sooooo long!
