Happy Fathers Day!

To all the baby daddys out there,

I wish you a heart felt Happy Father’s Day!

I hope all the fathers get to have a connection with thier child/children today.  Whether a phone call, a visit, a thought, a conversation, a prayer or something beautiful like that!

Dear Daddy, my papa, my good natured, christian, honest Father. I love you dearly… you have taught me well. I love you for being you! And for all the good you offer the world.

I love you Dad!

For all the times you prayed with me as I grew up. I love how you read the bible to me.  How you gave me a dollar to donate to church. How you opened the bible to the right section for me, and let me follow along with you as we sang from the hymn book.

For the trust you have in everyone.  How you lend a helping hand to the less fortunate and give people opportunities to live a better life.  For bringing someone to work, or pickup up some groceries for someone.  Lending someone a few bucks.

For not leaving the appropriate tip at a restaurant.   I love that every time I am with you, when we share breakfast at Ihop, or go to Sicily’s, I always have to sneak in a few extra dollars, or coach you in to leaving more case…  remember our rule?  What ever you think you should leave, double it!  lol

For being positive and optimistic.  I Love you for everything you do, and what you represent.

My promise to you.

To walk in your footsteps.  To live my life with love, warmth and sincerety.  To try and teach your soon to be grandchild the courage, respect, good ethics you have taught me.

I think Father’s day was invented just to celebrate you and the love you have for everyone on the planet! Here is a virtual hug and I appreciate you for being such a positive influence in my life.
