I’m Pregnant!

On March 25, 2009 I was in North Carolina visiting Faith and Eban.   Faith was fixing a martini and I haven’t had an alcoholic drink in weeks.   I decided to take my pregnancy test a day early to see the results, because if I wasn’t pregnant I was going to get my drink on with my sister!  lol

I went in the bathroom and peed on the stick ~  waited 30 seconds or so ~ got nervous ~ came out to the kitchen to be with Faith ~ We watched the digital background as an hourglass rotated round and round ~ it was thinking ~ thinking ~ then it popped up “Pregnant” ~

Faith and I both were shocked for a millisecond ~ our jaws dropped to the floor ~  and we instantly teared up and hugged and then was like OMG I CAN”T BELIEVE IT!  ~  What?  ~  really ~  huh ~  should I call Pat ~  OMG  I am pregnant? ~ I’m pregnant ~ I’m pregnant ~  I called Pat and told him over the phone ~ freak out ~ then I went to the urgent care to get another test done ~

yep ~ I’m pregnant!

That was 133 days ago ( I wrote this in August)~ I remember going to he bookstore with Faith the following day.  I bought two books and one of the first things I remember is reading that the baby was the size of a poppy seed.  Well now that poppy seed is 11 inches long!

Looking forward to celebrating with everyone in Louisiana and Texas.    I feel so special! I wonder why I feel so special when every other woman in the world has already had a baby.   Maybe it is because because I know how many of already adore and love Wee Baby .  How many of you support Pat and I in our new adventure.  How many of you that are good-natured loving humans that shine with goodness and optimism.
