   I built me a desk today and created a dining table in the dining area. I have my Living room open for yoga and there are two yoga mats, one for me and one for Pat.

   The last few weeks I been trying to run… hell on my back, but I been having this energy that needs to get out. My first try on the tread mill was November 12th and it took me a bit over 13 minutes to reach a mile.

   slowly I have been improving….

   Today I did a mile in 10 minutes and 30 seconds. Then walked brisk till I got to 20 minutes.

   Feels good, my back is crackly, but it still feels good!

   I anonymously picked up the dinner bill for two military guys at the restaurant I stopped at in Corpus Christi. This is something I do quite frequently when I'm able to in order to show my appreciation to all the people who serve.

     Gordon, what a super nice thing to do. That would make me feel proud too, I will have to keep this in mind if the situation happens with me. Its a simple gesture but it has a huge impact.

   Jeremy and I did that last Christmas. We went into a diner for breakfast and noticed a couple who looked like they were down on their luck. We told the waitress that we wanted to anonymously pay for their meal. It feels good to do good. One day I saw a car broke down on the interstate and about a half mile farther I saw a couple walking. I was on my way to work, but I heard that inner voice that said, "give them a ride." I pulled over and they got into the car. They thanked me, then the lady said . . . "My husband had just asked me, 'you think if God had a car, he'd stop and give us a ride?' and at that very moment, you pulled over." Wow! I got chills down my spine. I felt as though God used me. And what an awesome feeling it was. Thanks for sharing this Gordon. I will pay it forward.

     aww Terri, what a nice story! I am always scared to stop, but mom says you never know if that is one of Gods Angels he sent to test us…

     I can't recall any recent good deeds on my part that have truly helped someone out. In the spirit of the season, I will keep my eyes and heart open for opportunities to help someone in a unique way…

     I will pay it forward too.
