day 2 ~ mini challenge update

Hello y’all! Its day 2 of the mini challenge. I hope you are on target with the commitment you made to yourself! I’ll check your name off the list as you update.

  1. Hey Angel, I walked my two miles this morning. It was nice and breezy this morning and lots of people had the same idea I had. Lots of them on bikes and walking, it's really good to see. Steph has the stomach virus, she is just getting over it so she didn't walk with me this morning, but I am sure she will be up to it tommorow. Keep up the good work!!! Love ya

    • Alright Amy! Happy to see you keeping up with your challenge!!! Did you take Stephen with you? I hope Stephanie gets over that stomach virus quick, its not fun being sick.

  2. Good afternoon…

    Just to let you all know i done my first knee brace 30 minutes today…it hurts like hell…and now i am noticing a huge egg like shape on the left side…not supposed to be there…will have to watch it…i did go to do the exercise stationery bike…wwent to check for the correct length of my legs..went to go around and i went too for…OUCH DID THAT EVER HURT!!!!…THEN I GOT IT ADJUSTED TO WHAT I NEDED…SO I SAT BACK ON MY BIKE…THEN wham…THE SEAT FEEL BACKWARD ALONG WITH me!!!!…THE PIN THAT HOLDS THE SEAT IN PLACE WASN'T THERE…..so needless to say..i got the hell back up…and said the hell with this!!!!…will have to get Randy to check it…not sure if i am going to be able to do my knee brace..but i am going to try….if the swelling doesn't go down…i know i won't be able to do it..because i can't bend my knee….this all sucks!!!!will it ever get better????????

    • oh no Darlene! Get Randy to check it, and call the doctor about that lump! You tried so hard today, keep up that positive attitude! If that lump is still there by morning, maybe change up your challenge to something different. I don’t want you to upset your knee with exercises you shouldn’t do.

      Hugs to you and let us know how you knee is doing! and It Will Get Better! Your pain is only temporary.

      • I am going to try again tomorrow…knot is still there..been putting ice on it..and trying to elevate it..if it is still there tomorrow i will call or i will just wait and talk to them monday morning…love ya!!

  3. Hey everyone! I just finished my exercises… I have to admit, it was not my best. I was out all day and when we got home I took a quick shower and did my stretches. I blitz through them in about 5 minutes… way too fast.

    I'll take more time tomorrow to make it up.

    Hope everyone is doing well on their challenge!

  4. Hey….Just now I did some situps and some excercises with that rubber band thing. I also did that thing that Jillian on Biggest Loser makes those people do…You know the one that looks easy …when you stand against the wall and look like you are sitting with no chair under you…RIGHT…that one. Try it….I couldn't do it for over a minute with out all my muscles in my legs falling off….OUCH!!!!!!! I'll try again tommorow for two mins….Hopefully I will be able to walk tommorow. HAHAHA

    • way to go Amy! that chair pose is hard huh? If your legs hurt tomorrow, it will ease up as you walk the soreness out of them. Good luck and way to kick it up a notch!!!!

  5. Didn't have time to comment Friday or yesterday but I on a roll. Friday only one coke and I did my yoga for the whole 30 minutes. Yesterday I had one coke and also a little sprite and only had time for 15 mins of yoga but still doing pretty darn good.

    • keep it up Candice!! Just keep mixing it up and find the right times for your yoga… with your busy schedule, is all about finding out what works for you.. gook luck and keep it up!!!!
