my first ever CVS purchase

Hey everyone!  As you know I have been clipping coupons and trying to save some money.  Some of these frugal shoppers are totally amazing!  Just visit the centsible sawyer, scroll down the post and see links from other people describing and showing off their great deals from CVS. Go ahead and click around, these people know how to save! 

I went to CVS today. My plan was to earn as many Extra Care Bucks as dollars I spent.   ECB = extra care buck, which is like paper money for CVS when purchasing special items. It prints with your receipt when at the register.

At home tonight, I was so bored, I actually created an excel worksheet to track this stuff!  lol  yeah, I am so lame.  BUT this lame girl left the grocery store today spending only $19.00!! down from $38.00  wow wee man!

Next time I shop at CVS, I get to use my $10.79 in ECBs and my out of pocket will hopefully be a dollar or two with more ECBs to use the next time.  *fingers crossed*  *big sales big sales no whammies*  mama needs to pay for school!  lol
