Darlene is getting a new knee today

My sister is getting a new knee today. She had a couple/few knee surgeries and lots of recovery and therapy time, however they were not totally successful. Doctors orders: A total knee replacement. weird. last night was the last night with her patella… farewell patella! out with the old knee and in with the new knee!

Darlene will be in the hospital for several days after her surgery. Lets send some love and good vibes to her for a successful knee replacement today and a speedy recovery.

    quick update… Mom called me and Darlene's surgery went as smoothly as it could go. She will be going to her own room soon. Mom will call later with another update…

    hey everyone! Darlene is in her room… she is talking good and looking good.. and suffering from a lot of pain.. .. Hopefully just tempory, I can only imagine the pain she is going through….
