Bye Bye Stupid Couch

Things are now set in motion. We are going to be experiencing some major transformations! Well if you consider sitting on the JagerGator while watching a movie a major transformation!

We did give away the sofa. And fixing to clear out a bunch of stuff here in the apartment.

I have my plane ticket for Friday the 13th! Pat does not.. boo hoo, he can’t make it.

They laid off 175 people (over 100 in the home office) in my company, I have a new regional and I will not be working with any of the other store managers in my kid division. I’ll be the only “kiddy” store in my new region of 12 other regular stores!
This is good and bad:
good – I’ll have a whole new set of people to totally impress!
bad – all the positions I wanted to move up to have been eliminated!

For fiscal 2007 I did win several awards! Look how awesome the team did:
Number 1 in company – sales gains over FY06
Number 1 in company – highest gross profit
Number 1 in company – highest average ticket
Number 1 in company – highest conversion
Number 2 in company – most store credit cards
Number 3 in company – highest sales volume (2 stores in Florida just beat me!)

I am number 1 in 4 of 6! How sweet is that!

I am updating my resume today.. Someone out there has got to think those stats are impressive! I am optimistic about the new changes in the company, I just don’t want to be a career store manager. I don’t want to manage the store for ever! You know?!?!?!?
