Louisiana to Maryland! I am remembering my time in Houma and my drive up here with Darlene and my Father. I have many pictures here in the vacation album.
While we were headed up.. we drove on Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoyed the fall trees, cool winds and sunshine. The scenery was absolutely breath taking and I stopped at many look overs to soak in the view. I just couldn’t get enough. We also went to Ruby Falls and went underground in the caverns and took a couple mile hike to see the falls. Then we headed to Rock City where we took another couple mile hike. We squeezed through enormous rock boulders and Darlene was kind of freaking out. Dad was OK, until we got on a very long and rocky swing bridge. Well that was better than me walking out on the platform that hovers over the cliff. Daddy was like get over here girl!! Then I talked him into taking a picture with me hanging out there!! We also rode the steepest incline train in the world!
We visited Washington D.C. too! Even went on a garden tour on the grounds of the White House!! whoooo hoooo! Pat even got a shot with a secret service man! Yeah that is just how cool we are! :thumbup_tb:
All in all it was an amazing week with Darlene and Dad. So happy to have been able to take a vacation with them. It means so much to me! :smile1_tb:

Super mom, super wife and super tired! :-) I created this website to keep my friends, family and internet enthusiast entertained. :P I try to take pretty pictures, make healthy foods, play arts and crafts and much more!
Looks like ya'll had a blast. Hope that you and Pat won't wait so long to take another trip down here. You can't forget about us little ones down south.
Hugs & love
