I have word on Huey.. he was spotted on Royce yesterday… I can not get through using phone/cell lines to anybody.
everything still kinda sucks.. It can always be worse, I just feel depressed or something…

    It's understandable about feeling guilty for being fortunate. That's human nature. Another face of human nature, the ugly one, surfaced with the looters in New Orleans and Biloxi. It was one of the few times I have been embarrassed to be a southerner. How can we convince anyone that you are deserving of help and assistance from others when you're looting? It's distressing. The National Guard and police should be shooting looters on site. We have no place in society for looters taking advantage of others misery. To me looters are ranked in the dregs of society just above pedophiles and right below the price gougers. I say weed the gene pool and use absolute force to stop these events. I hope everyone watching the looting scenes on TV realizes that the vast majority of southerners are helping their fellow citizens. Sorry for venting but I'm just aggravated (and embarrassed as a southerner) that these looters had free reign and absolutely minimal consequences.

    I am extremely upset about the situation… I would bet that many people do not take shelter and leave there home to find safety in fear of people destroying there cherished belongs.

    I am sick to my stomach… literally..

    What the hell are they taking things for anyway? They don't have a freaking place to live. The city is in ruins. What the hell? It baffles me by some peoples lack of sensitivity and good nature.

    On Eban's podcast yesterday he also touched on the topic of looters. It was a good show yesterday, hopefully a lot of people are listening! If I remember, it was the looteres who got the Bitch Slap. fucking looters… It makes me feel hate, and I DON'T LIKE THAT! *sits quietly* * ommmmmmmm* *ommmmmmmm*

    Oh thank God! I was so worried…am so happy to hear he is alright. Sure hope the phones and electricity comes back on in Houma soon. It must be so dreadfully hot.
